HybridClaw is the engine for agentic work. HybridAI is the management and security layer on top. Together they form a stack that lets businesses not just test agents, but run them in production. Evals show which skills work, where approvals are needed, and whether changes improve or degrade performance.

„HybridClaw is a strong alternative to OpenClaw – especially in enterprise contexts. I particularly liked the integration of Luhmann's Zettelkasten as a memory system in the latest release.“

„We're considering replacing our OpenClaw instance with HybridClaw soon – the additional safeguards and features like the memory system or the Teams integration are very compelling and make it ideal for enterprise use.“

Choose the deployment that fits the workflow

Use HybridClaw Cloud when operations, updates and support should be managed. Use HybridClaw Self-Hosted when data, infrastructure or model execution must stay under your control. Combine both for hybrid agent teams.

HybridClaw Cloud (EU)

Best for

Fast rollout, hosted updates, support and shared control. Each agent with its own email address and phone number.

HybridClaw Self-Hosted

Best for

Maximum data control, your own infrastructure and local models (Ollama, vLLM). Up to 80% token savings.

Hybrid Deployment

Best for

Cloud-managed agents that delegate sensitive tasks to local agents.

Ready to take the step from demo to production?

Two ways into the stack. Pick the one that fits your team.

HybridClaw Cloud

Managed Cloud (EU) on hybridai.one: run AI agents in production. With Company Brain, RBAC, audit, evals, budgets and an own email address and phone number per agent.

Frequently asked questions about AI agents and agent infrastructure

? What is the difference between HybridClaw and HybridAI? +

HybridClaw is the open-source runtime for AI agents: agents, skills, tools, workflows, browser automation and agent-to-agent messaging. HybridAI is the managed control plane around it: Company Brain, memory, RAG, RBAC, secrets, audit logs, observability, budgets, deployment and business-skill management.

? Is HybridAI GDPR-compliant? +

HybridAI is designed for GDPR-sensitive deployments: EU hosting, self-hosting options, access controls, audit logs, PII masking and configurable data-retention policies. Final compliance depends on the customer setup and data-processing agreement.

? How fast can AI agents go into production? +

Agents can be online in minutes and in production within a few days. On top of existing skills for finance, sales, support, BI and operations workflows. Deep integrations with DATEV, Lexware, SAP, Salesforce or your own APIs are added via connectors or custom skills.

? How do you know an AI agent actually works? +

HybridClaw tracks real task runs as trajectories and turns them into skill scores, agent CVs and regression checks. Each business skill can be evaluated against workflow-specific test cases. Teams can see whether an agent is stable enough for production, which tasks need human approval and whether model or skill updates improved or degraded performance.

? HybridClaw vs. OpenClaw, Hermes-Agent and PaperClip: what is the difference? +

HybridClaw is an open-source AI agent runtime for production business workflows. Compared with OpenClaw, Hermes-Agent or PaperClip, HybridClaw focuses less on personal agent experimentation and more on enterprise-ready agent infrastructure: business skills, tool use, browser automation, multi-channel agents, encrypted secrets, human approvals, audit logs, rollback, skill evals, agent scorecards, budget controls and EU-hosted or self-hosted deployment via HybridAI.

? Can skills improve themselves? +

Yes. Every skill grades its own trajectories against its test cases on every run. From recurring failure classes the skill drafts prompt or tool adjustments that the human skill owner can review and merge. A health process additionally watches eval drift, latency and cost continuously and alerts before production regressions land. Details at /en/skills.

? How does memory work in HybridClaw? +

HybridClaw combines four memory layers: working memory for the active task, a Zettelkasten after Niklas Luhmann (atomic notes with cross-references), a Company Brain with RAG over docs, CRM and wiki — and cross-agent sharing with RBAC. Agents stay stateful between tasks without mixing sensitive data across teams. Dive deeper: /en/memory.

? How does the Managed Cloud differ from self-hosting? +

Self-hosted gives you full data control and token savings with your own models, but operations stay with you. Managed Cloud on hybridai.one takes 24/7 availability, auto-scaling, zero-downtime deploys, EU hosting (Hetzner), long-term audit storage and email/phone setup per agent off your plate. Both paths are fully portable — skills and memory migrate in both directions. More: /en/managed-cloud.

? What ends up in the audit log? +

Every tool call, every model decision, every approval — with input, output, latency, cost and skill hash. Entries are hash-chained (tampering is detectable), in Managed Cloud they are additionally mirrored to an external append-only store and retained tamper-proof for 7 years. PII is masked automatically, the trail stays complete. Full overview: /en/auditability.

? Do agents really get their own email addresses and phone numbers? +

Yes. Each agent can have a real email address (on your domain or a hybridai.one subdomain, DKIM/SPF configured) and optionally a German phone number via Twilio. Inbound calls are transcribed, outbound calls can be scheduled, attachments get parsed. The agent is reachable like a colleague — not just a browser bubble. More: /en/email-and-phone.
